Somehow we were late due to photo shoot for the new batch of clothes.So no dim sum for me, maybe next Sunday after jogging. Love the new arrival especially culotte pants which reminds me of my granny's pants!Fashion recycle!
our So we went to IOI mall to catch 'The clash of the titans'.Movie was okay, it has the slight similarity to 'Percy Jackson and the lightning thieves' which it is about the greek myths ,the god and demi-god stories.
I told Kong Kong that we should dine at Umai-ya Japanese restaurant since we are here in Puchong.At the end of the day, all I can say is don't bother to come back for the second time.
Food wasn't that great.I had the suckiest Okonomiyaki!No where beats Lowyat's Okonomiyaki although they are the Hiroshima type.I think I can make better Okonomiyaki than Umai-ya's chef.Thanks to Minori san who taught me when I was in London.
Umai-ya gave so little bonito flakes and 3 pathetic tiny slices of unagi.Don't ever get cheated by their photo in the menu.
The only good stuff was their Gindara Saikyo Yaki which is the grilled cod fish.Small piece with the premium price.Oh by the way alot of bones.I hate fish with alot of bones,it makes me so conscious that every piece i put in my mouth i have to chew it properly to make sure it is safe to swallow.So after all not that good.Lol.
The photo above was their Chef recomendation 'Kani Unatama Maki' which consist of soft shell crab,tamago and unagi wrapped in a seaweed.Taste okay but not soft shell crab wasn't crunchy enough and fresh enough, almost soggy?
Some fishy sushi.No pun intended.It's tuna tataki sushi and Shime Saba sushi.Kong Kong asked me whether is Shime Saba a Ikan Kembung?No idea but it smell fishy?and it is marinated with vinegar.Somehow I have develop the love for it few years back which I had the first bite.
